Case Study

Kerikeri Retirement Village is a Charitable Trust based in Kerikeri. Set on over 12 acres, the Village comprises over 70 cottages, townhouses and apartments, plus a care facility and specialist dementia unit.

In addition to this, the Village offers respite care and provides an array of community based programmes and services. Mad Ideas acts as an outsource Marketing Department to the Village and works with the management team on external communication.

This includes everything from website management, photography and videography through to the design and print of sales collateral, newsletters and signage. We also handle the strategy and media related to marketing the properties.

We have conceived and managed a number of fundraising promotions and community events.

‘We can always rely on Mad Ideas for a creative solution to whatever challenge we set. Initiatives like our ‘Mr Chef (cooking classes for retired men) and the ‘Design a Pillowcase’ Charity Auction, which raised money for new mattresses in the Care Facility, have created good exposure for us and raised awareness that we are a not-for-profit organisation. Whatever the task, we know that Debbie will give it her total focus and keep everyone involved on track from the time the idea is first mooted, until the work is complete.’
